These Tomei lifters can be used with Tomei's line of solid cams and also JWTs Solid Race Cam. We recommend using the 3.0mm shims and having the valves cut to fit. Lifters can be ordered alone or with the addition of the 3.0mm shims. The benefit of running solid lifters and cams is less oil consumption in the heads. The factory HLAs consume a tremendous amount of oil which can be detrimental on road race VG30 cars.
